About Us

Art and creativity makes life better. It plays a pivotal role in cognitive and motor development in children and paves way for self expression. In this era where parents battle the challenge of screentime of kids, how can we promote the joy of creativity in the young minds?

Our idea is to motivate the creativity in kids by custom printing their own artwork onto tshirts. The pride and joy of seeing their artwork on an apparel that they can wear and show off to friends shall be the motivating factor to make the kids and their friends to pick up the crayons and create more art.

An extension of this idea is to provide a platform where artist get an opportunity to sell merchandise with their artwork printed on it. This shall serve a dual purpose of providing an income stream for the artists and motivating the kids to create more art and sell their merchandise as well. At Festoons, we celebrate the creative kids and artists alike.

Meet the founder

Saranya, a Master's in Design from IIT Guwahati, has always been passionate about art. This love, nurtured since childhood, now extends to her children through creative weekend art sessions. An accomplished artist herself, Saranya enjoys working with natural and polymer clay to create jewelry.

She founded Festoons to inspire kids by turning their creativity into wearable pride and to provide a platform for artists.

Her dedication has earned her the South India Women Achievers Award (2020), a feature in the New Indian Express (2018), and first place in the International Clay Contest (2016).
